The Marks Research Group

Welcome to the Marks Research Group. Over the years the group has worked on a wide range of different topics involving nanoscale materials, combining advanced transmission electron microscopy with other tools such as density functional theory and modelling. This has been both theory and experiment often working collaboratively with other scientists at Northwestern and elsewhere.

In 2023 Prof Marks retired, but still continues to work on triboelectricity in collaboration with a number of groups around the world.
